Anyone play Call of Duty WaW regularly on 360 live ??

Im still a newb by most standards, level 17 currently, but im not terrible.

Anyone play? Maybe we can get some casual games going.

Yep this is pretty much the only game me and my friends play right now. I first prestige level 42. Also if anyone has any M1A1 codes that they aren't using. Try selling them on ebay, I listed 2 and 1 is already up to $16.00.

Sorry to hijack, but how does this game compare to COD4 (which I love so much I bought for the 360 even tho I have the PC version)?

Not really it depends on taste. If you like WW2 games go for W@W, if you like more modern games go for CoD4, if you like CoD4 but want new maps and guns go for W@W. I have friends that like W@W better than CoD4 and I have friends that like CoD4 better than W@W. It just depends on what you like.

I like the weapons and the modern warfare better than the return to WW2, but CoD:WaW is still fun as hell. I usually play on weekends as that is the only time I am able to.

I would have to agree, but I've only played the demo of WAW for about an hour or two. It's just the weapons are so archaic, the dogs are annoying.... the level designs seemed really good for the most part.

i dont have zombie mode unlocked yet, im too addicted to online play to continue the solo mode haha. team deathmatch was good the other day though.

I just started 2 weeks ago. Seriously though, the spawn points in this game are bullshit. I get at least 2-3 spawn deaths per match. Tempted to go back to COD4 but I would at least like to get to a 1.0 k/d ratio first.

ever since I got the bouncing betty perk my score has dropped from first or second every match to damn near last. Those things make me suck; but I love mining the battlefield.

Definitely true. I've gone back to COD4 because the spawns are so shitty among other things.

Ya i definitely cant use those things, i alwasy die while setting them. ON the other hand though, i always have bomb squad turned on as one of my perks.

I played it pretty heavily several weeks ago with some friends from work, but my playing has trailed off since I started cleaning and packing for my move. I still jump in and play a random team DM and I do love me some Zombies.

I'm happy for the OP that he's enjoying, but I couldn't get into it to save my life. The single player was good, but the multiplayer maps are downright terrible. There's no strategy to be found at all, and the games are just random chaos.

Maps like Countdown and Bog look like masterpieces next to the maps of WaW. Simply put, if you liked those maps in COD4, you'll love the maps in WaW. If not, you won't.

W@W has been referred to as a map pack for COD4. That being said, I enjoy most of the maps for the game. Never having played COD4 much may have a large part to do with it.
