Endorsed by Chuck Norris, it has to be good, right?

I don't have space in my apartment, and thought this might just be perfect for keeping in shape when the water is too damn cold.

Anybody owns one? What's your take on it? I need something with very small footprint.

find one at a garage sale or craigslist for $25. It's not worth the the $500 bucks or whatever they charge. I used to surf and it was great exercise. Especially doing it in front of the tv and my fav show or sport.

There's cheaper ones out there that will do the same thing. The Health and Fitness forum is probably a better place to post this for serious responses.

Pretty much all of them work. The key is having enough energy to use them. I have a buddy with a Bowflex and when he uses it consistently, he gets fantastic results. If you are serious about getting it, my advice is to make sure you get enough sleep (especially go to bed early) and eat constantly so that you have enough motivation to use it on a regular basis.

Otherwise it becomes like my elliptical machine - a modern art masterpiece of a laundry hanger :awe:

is you want paddling strength which I needed for surfing than a used total gym is by far your best bang for the buck. You can get vasa trainer but that runs you over 4 digits. A good used total gym for under $50, if you don't like it sell it back for that same price.
