Anyone own the "Ultimate Matrix Collection?"

no, and i don't plan to, i already own the good parts, ie the first movie

haha. ok i'm curious too whats on all those other dvd's

getting it for Christmas... I'll probably get together with a couple friends and give the trainwreck of a series the Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment 😀

I saw that at BB this afternoon. I asked my gf, who actually sits down and watches 10 DVDs of Matrix stuff? Of course, I don't get the 4-DVD LOTR movies either.

Matrix Reloaded was the best of the three. The first was bland compared to the second. Matrix Revolutions was just weird.

Outside of the Man With No Name trilogy, Matrix Reloaded is the only dvd I've ever watched more than once.

nope. already own all 3 seperately, and only got the latter 2 because im a completest. got them through previously viewed sales and such. in fact, that reminds me... my lethal weapon collection is looking odd without number 3 directors cut. gotta pick that one up this week.

Wow.. the 2nd and 3rd were complete shit... They just went overboard with the whole causality, and choice vs. destiny theme, that was clearly underlying and well written in the first.

Not to mention the CG was terrible, especially during the burly brawl with all the Smiths and Neo. The only one out of the three worth noting, or watching even, is the first.
