It kinda looks better than the WRX but the WRX wagon and RSX are the same price. In the WRX you get not only AWD, which never hurts, but also an extra 27 horsepower. Looks aside for me that is just too much to discount. 27 horsepower through 4 wheels. It's a bad, bad boy!!Originally posted by: isekii

Subaru has an exceptional record of reliability. A Turbo is not as reliable as an NA, but that's one tiny part of the car that is more than made up for with the increase in horsepower and the awd IMO.Originally posted by: Kwan1
Well my gf has a rsx type-s and she got it for 23,900 Out the door, not bad if u ask me. Its no comparison between the WRX and the RSX, but acura vs subaru.... Acura Wins
NA vs FI... NA to me is always more dependable then FI down the road
4wd vs FWD.. 4wd wins.
So if your want FI and sudden boost in speed, get the WRX.
If you want a dependable, quick coupe, pick the RSX.
I am not saying the WRX is not dependable, but i am bias against FI cars.
Got a base for $22.5k w/automatic, all-weather mats, Karr alarm, wheel locks, mudguards, "polish" and big fat California taxes...this was months back when they were harder to find though so you can get much better prices w/the 2003's coming outOriginally posted by: Dumbledore

Don'tbecause i'm looking into getting one.
I don't...rather, I didn't... not fun enough, not fast enough, not enough car for the price. You're paying for the dependability/increased demand that the ricers give this carand if you do have one, how do you like it?
No problemthanks.
Where are you getting these numbers from?Originally posted by: Demon-Xanth
Although the WRX only has 27HP on the RSX, it has about a second and a half in the quarter.

Yes I'm PO'd cuz I got the auto :|
Anyhow, you really can't ddecide it with numbers or anything like that because there's just way too many criteria to deal with...style, comfort, convenience, speed, handling, practicality, etc.
Figure out what's most important to you and compare the cars you want based on that...and be sure...
When I originally bought the RSX, I thought the convenience of the auto in California traffic was more important to me than being faster than 99% of the other cars on the road. After a few months of driving, I found out I was wrong. Now I know I would trade all the stop and go time M-F for just those 1 or 2 hours on the weekend when I can scream down Grizzly Peak or PCH or the Marin Headlands (top down of course).
