No other electronics, coffee, toilet paper, food, cereal, MEAT, milk/eggs, books, batteries, caskets, or clothes that you need to buy?

You don't have a single friend, co-worker or family member who can help you out? Grab a Vitamix 5200 off the shelf, at the check out line you can pay using YOUR debit card (eliminates the hassle of repaying someone), you're in and out in about 30 minutes plus travel time.

Edit: Wow it's been the same price for about a year now, these things practically sell themselves:

Closest Costco is 80 miles away. Nobody here has a membership. I might reconsider when I relocate in the near future.

GF works at whole foods, so we got 30% off ... think we paid $350 or something for a new one, it's niiiiiiiiiice.

She basically doesn't use the juicer, magic bullet anymore, so we're going to sell those.

bought a blendtec when costco had the 2-jar package on sale. we only use the bigger 5-side jar. the thing is pretty tough and i don't see when we'll ever need the smaller rectangular jar.

I wish the lab coat guy would making a video of it blending a magic bullet...

ive even taken to making scrambled eggs in them. for 6 people, i make a truckload of eggs. pop em in the blender, mix em up, dump em in a hot pan. perfect every time.

Yup, same here - nice & fluffy omelets. My only gripe is that I tried chopping up the ham & cheese in the blender with the eggs (lazy, what can I say) and the Blendtec liquified the meat - I had pink eggs :D

I'm guessing that you could whip up the eggs first, then toss in the rest and give it a quick pulse on a slow setting and call it good.

we came across the Vitamix on the home shopping channel of all places. was just flipping through the channels and landed on it because there was nothing on and it looked interesting. watched the whole damn infomercial on it and ended up ordering one for $450. the next day, our old blender burnt up, so it was a good thing we got it. well worth the money. smoothies all day every day.

Heh...We got our Vitamix via QVC a few years ago. LOVE it...best blender ever.

(but I don't think you can go wrong with a Vitamix or Blendtec...get which ever one you find at the price you like)
