I am thinking of getting one since I have lots of camcorder tapes that need to be transfered to dvd for editting and it would cost $80 each to get a local store to do it (I have 12 tapes). I know I could set up my computer to do it and it would be cheaper but more time consuming then getting a DVD recorder. Also I need to replace an old VCR.
Any recommendations on brands & models would be greatly appriciated........ I was looking at a Daytek (it's a rebadged Lite-on) for $400 Cdn (~$300 US).
Are there any review sites for this kind of stuff?
