My father had the 5.7L model and now owns an SRT8 version.

Both are very solid and capable cars, but I hate the steering wheel. It has almost no feedback and is WAY too floaty and light. The SRT8 version is slightly better, but it feels like I am driving a truck.

Also, for a huge ass truck, there is very little space inside. I don't really care about trunk space, but yeah, it can be tight also.

I have the unfortunate sickness that these cars are the only ones I want.... Either the 300C or a Magnum 🙁. No other car appeals to me and I don't know if the MPG is a killer deal but at this point it isn't since my job isn't that far and I have a 4 banger that I'd keep.

If you are into shitty hard uncomfortable "Chinese" plastic interiors, you will LOVE these cars.

I really don't understand people with a hard-on for Mercedes quality interiors on lower end cars. I drive a Neon and the interior is nice to me. The interior on the Magnum and the 300 is nice to me as well. I guess growing up driving an old car makes me think even the simplest interior is nice.

Early models tend to have more hard plastic but 2008+ models will have nicer interiors. I personally can't stand the tiny spoiler on the 2008+ ones.

I talked the dealership into letting me borrow the car for about 2 hours. i drove around to see how much i liked it, I told them if i got 15 minutes to drive the car, i'll most likely just floor it and beat the crap out of it, but 2 hours will let me drive and get a real feel for the car.

I drove it and i didn't have any issues with it. But at the end of the day i rather drive my G35. Guess i'll most likely try to convince a close family member to get something i can use and call it good or just live with it the way i've been doing. No ski/bike racks or hitches.
