Surprisingly I'm not a sensitive person at all. Stuff like this has virtually no effect on at all. It's the sentimental things that just make me want to curl into a ball. Just kind of odd considering just last year I'd be encountering the same situations and I'd think "yeah that's cool, sweet, awesome" but now it it's like it's like someone wants to build a bridge and I'm responsible for the river.

I am extremely sentimental/passionate. It's a blessing and a curse, I think. I love that I'm so intensely passionate about love and human kindness, music and people, etc. But it gets in the way of being logical at times.

I find myself getting extra teary lately, too. But I'm an emotional woman with lots of mood swings, but it probably does increase in the winter a lot.

I don't know why, but I've watched Titanic more then once, and there's a few parts where I shed tears a bit, usually the same parts. The one I can think of is when the captain ignores someone asking him a question and slowly walks towards the steering room (which is about to get flooded out) shuts the door, stares at the wheel for a bit, then the windows break and he's dead. I'm picturing him thinking "I started this journey here, and will end it here" The part where he's just staring at the wheel is what gets me.

That and when it's showing scenes of old Rose watching what she remembers, and handling her old recovered items.

The worse is when in school when we'd watch a movie and there was a sad part, I'd hope nobody sees me tearing up LOL. It's usually the weird stuff I tear up on, and the stuff most people do, I wont.

Over all, I've always been pretty hard-hearted, but since my knee surgery and back problems, I've turned into quite the softie.
Rather than shed a tear over the sad stuff though, it's the happy things that bring a tear to my normally dry eyes...<go figure>

However, Friday, when we had our 13 y.o. cat put down...I blubbered like a big girl...and occasionally, something will remind me of him...and I get all watery again.
