Anyone order from Newegg recently?

I ordered a floppy drive last Thursday at noon and it still hasn't shipped yet.

Has anyone else experienced the same delays with Newegg or am I the only one?

i ordered a system last monday and it arrived wed. The stuff arrived before they updated the website with my tracking #.

They usually ship out my orders before the day is out, in this case, last Thursday, or they could've shipped it out the next business day, which would've been Friday.

a lot of places had shorter hours on friday, I think fedex was one of them.

Newegg's still better than most places, but I've also had several orders over the past 6-8 months that were not handled in their usual speedy fashion. The most notable was just before the Christmas holidays when I paid extra for same day handling and next day air. They didn't get it out for 3 days and I didn't get the part until after the holidays which did me no good as it was intended for a family member I was visiting. 🙁

I'll continue to use them though as most of my orders are shipped very quickly. But I'm also shop around more as well.

Please, spare me the lecture.

I've ordercountless item from them before and have never had to wait from Thursday to Monday for an order to ship.

It's all moot anyways because I just got off the phone with a csr who gave me a tracking number.

Did you call Newegg? They probably would have refunded the cost of shipping.

The main reason why I continue to shop at Newegg isn't the speedy transactions, but the excellent customer service.

The csr I talked to said they were stocking their inventory for the new year on Friday and all orders shipped on Monday.

The only time my order was delayed was when I "rushed processed" the order and it went out a day late. Newegg had refunded my $2.99 before I could get to this forum and complain.

i ordered HL2 from newegg. it arrived before i even started wondering where the package is and bothered checking the tracking info

came within 2 days
