anyone order a cell phone from amazon and port their number?

So I want to switch from T-mobile to Verizon, Amazon has a decent offer so I'm gonna switch this month or next.

anyone port their number after ordering from amazon and want to tell me how it;s done.


the only info I got from calling verizon was that Amazon doens't port numbers.
 
I believe Cingular is the only one that will not allow you to port numbers via Amazon. If you read on Amazon's Cell Phone FAQ they talk about it.

I've done it with Sprint to Tmobile, no problems at all.
