Anyone on here alergic to fresh garlic?

I love Italian food and use garlic powder and paste and have no problems. Lately, the wife has gotten fresh garlic and the smell of it cooking gives me really bad headaches.

but my mother is mildly alergic to any kind of garlic

No but my mother-in-law is. She is also allergic to holy water, can't stand the sight of a cross or sunlight and has to be back in her coffin before the sun comes up.

I couldn't imagine life without it. Whatever a recipe calls for I usually double or even quadruple.... mmmmm garlic......

Her too! Wow, I thought I was the only one. The wife says I must be a vampire because garlic is about the only thing that I have found that I appear to be allergic too
