And HOW STABLE is it? I"m planning on buying a KR7AR this weekend and plan on doing some FSB OCing once I get it. I don't think I'm gonna mess w/unlocking the multiplier on an AthlonXP...just too risky.

So, what FSB are you at and how stable is it?

I'm game-stable at 148MHz Fsb with all dram settings maxed except with 2T command rate (KR7ARAID/XP1600/Corsair 2400 DDRAM). I expect to get to 150 with some more voltage-tweaking, but I expect my AGKGA-stepping cpu won't let me get much farther. Highest straight-FSB overclocking I've seen posted is 166MHz FSB.

If I were making the choice of which board to buy at this time, I would probably buy the Shuttle AK35GTR for similar capabilities at a much better price.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. Here's what is really ironic about your last sentence. I've just spent the past hour researching the Shuttle AK35GTR...and checking test results....and deciding that I'm prolly going to purchase the Shuttle over the Abit! Ain't that a gas? Hell, it's $30 cheaper, has the same features and a slightly better layout. The onboard sound doesn't sway me, as I won't use it, but it's nice to know that it's there. Thanks again.
