Anyone notice the microsoft gamevoice Homepage is gone?

Hmmm... could be.

There wasn't much on the site anyhow, if I remember correctly... I've got the latest updates for the software and my CD, so that's all I need. 🙂 I use TeamSpeak for communications, and the newest version supports the GV buttons (although not speach recognition) so I'm happy.
 
Honestly, I haven't used the GV software...

Teamspeak doesn't give you a contact list, or atleast not a traditional one. It lets you connect to a server, which I suppose could be public, but is usually run by yourself or a friend. For instance, myself and a few friends all connect to a friends server whenever we want to play a game or we're just general available to chat. In this sense, we can see each other on the server in what you could call a contact list, but it's essentially just a list of everyone on the server....

I think there are other applications which might be closer to the GV software, but I haven't tried them either. Maybe RogerWilco? ...
 
I like the gamevoice software when it works... alot. Basically it gives you a contact list just like MS messenger (which it uses indirectly) and you can start sessions from the list. It's just really convienent. Great product. HORRIBLE support.
