How can you dis on the first Batman? WTF? Jack made the perfect Joker and Keaton was the perfect excentric Bruce Wayne PLUS he had the best Batman voice of anyone to ever play him (probably my least fav part of Begins, next to frantic, choppy action sequences heh). Maybe it seems a little hokey today because of how old it is (art gallery scene FT?WTF?)... but come on. Give credit where credit is due. Not to mention Tim Burtons Gotham was the perfect setting.

Amuzingly, I saw it in the theatre when I was 7... I remember telling my father my favorite part was when Batman was up in his jet and the Joker goes "Come on you sick son of a bitch." He thought it was hilarious and told me never to repeat those words in front of my mother. 😛

all previous batmans suck... period....

the only other good batman is the cartoon

News flash for people who think that the villan died in Batman Begins... that character is virtually immortal and most likely did not die.

Do we know for sure that Doc Ock died in Spidey 2? I don't think so.

Whether or not MJ was a whiner in Spidey 2 doesn't change the fact that she's a recurring character. In all batman movies except the upcoming ones, the love interest has been a different person and character each time. Spidey's interest is and will probably always be one person. That is a nice change. Unfortunately it seems that katie cruise is going to be in the next couple of batmen.

I'm looking forward to X3! I liked the original but I loved X2!

And by the way, Batman Begins sucked ass. AWFUL movie. AWFUL!

IGN reported that psylocke is supposed to be in this Xfilm too. Is that correct?

those pics of the ruskie rock! I am sure that live action+cgi will make him look a little more imposing and less tin-man. 🙂

I think X3 looks good right now, no worse than the previous two.
I agree, X2 was a pretty good sequel, better than the first, but still not quite as good as the Spiderman movies or Batman Begins - however both are definitely up there in group of the best comic book gone to the big screen, which is not a big group at all.

Christian Bale's Batman voice bugged me too. I could never put my finger on it but there was something about his portayal of batman that just bugged me. It almost seemed too "forced" if that makes any sense. I liked the movie but I still think Keaton made a better batman.

I loved the first two movies, why didn't you like em?

For the most part, superhero movies suck. You always know which side is going to win and usually which characters are going to live or die. There's always a boring love story and typically the acting isn't so great either.

You must hate a lot of movies, including Lord of the Rings.

Indeed, LOTR is another horribly overrated series of movies.

All I want to know is how they're going to do Gambit.

They're not in X3. The filmmakers have already said that they couldn't put him in and do him justice in this one (they are already introducing Beast and Angel and giving more screen time to Kitty Pryde and Colossus). They are saying perhaps in a future one.

What about the Spiderman movies? Were they horrible? I didn't think so.

What? Out of all superhero movies the Spiderman ones (and especially the second) are the worst. Every movie involves Spiderman being depressed about his social life, him saving that bitch girlfriend, and the badguy dying at the end. The second one only had what... two fight scenes? Come one, that's lame.

HAha, I was waiting for someone to say it.

Batman should just go whoop all their asses.

Batman Begins is the only superhero movie that was actually pretty good.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't like the Spiderman movies. IMO they are TO comic bookish, where as X-Men is more of an action movie but it has a underlying theme that is relevent, especially today.

Didn't care for the Batman movies, but teh last one I thought was AWFUL! I like the Spiderman movies, but I LOVE the X-Men movies! I'll be watching X3 on opening day. 🙂 And let me tell you, I rarely go to movie theaters anymore.
