Anyone notice how all the vampires had reflections in Underworld? (not a spolier)

The vampires->mirrors myth didn't come into being until Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Traditional vampire mythology doesn't necessarily include it.

According to IMDB posts, the blonde Vampire that hated Selena, did not have a reflection. Explain that.

explain what? why imdb says she does...or are you saying she really doesn't?

b/c in that one scene were Selene was looking into the tombs...the blond girl's reflection was there.

Why wouldn't vampires have reflections? Reflections are caused by light bouncing off an object, then being reflected by the mirror. There is no way any creature, magical or not, would be invisible to a mirror but not to you.

The mythology behind the reflectionless vampire is, as I said, a standard set by Bram Stoker. Part of it draws from the belief that mirrors are the gateway to the soul, and since vampires are soulless undead, well, you get the picture.

Cool...now I understand the reasoning behind the vampires not having a reflection myth.

How come there are never any fat vampires?

That's just in the movies... Like how we never see bad teeth on people in the olden days before toothpaste, dentists or fillings. I'm sure there are fat vampires in real life.

There are fat vampires. Some of those kids wearing black lipstick and white makeup and biting each other like they are vampires.

Explain why Selena has a reflection while the blonde girl does not when she is trying on the dress.

LordJezo, why the hell would you give out ANY details from a movie, regardless of how significant you think it is, without giving the reader a choice before reading it? Oh wait, that's because you're a f*cking dumbass.
