Anyone NOT Impressed with Command and Conquer 3?

After seeing some interviews and reading some articles, it seems as if other than a pretty GUI, C&C3 is just your basic eye candy for 3 weeks and then its just 'another game in the archives'.

Unlike, for example: Company of Heroes with its newly implemented RTS features.

What do you guys think? Seen/Read anything that seems pretty promising about the game?

Wait, you're expecting a game that actually has fun game play and not all eye candy from EA?!

I'm happy that they're going back to RL videos, but the thing is the last couple CC games have been crap.

Umm, what new things did CoH bring to the table? What it felt like to me was a step backwards in many areas.

Like physics, the dynamics's of game play. I never liked Warhammer's RTS, or the super fast paced gameplay that was insanely sped up to appeal to the Unreal Tournament/Counter Strike people. I'm sick of those games.

I kind of have this feeling with halo 3.

The graphics are very unimpressive now, but granted, the game is still miles away from store shelves and also they've clearly said the graphics they have now are holder graphics, and also the fact that halo was never a graphical powerhouse.

But with the features of the game, it doesn't sound like it's going to be much of an improvement over the halo 2, and almost looks like it'll take the halo 2 route from halo 1.

Go with ROL, RON, and the AoE series. Empire Earth is decent too, along with Earth 2160. C&C has sucked since the days of Starcraft.

I'm curious as to which C&C you're using to compare with Starcraft.... Honestly, I think Starcraft owns every C&C ever made... And I'm not even that big a fan of Starcraft.

Well, actually, i was being serious. I'm a bit biased however, since I love the soviet/american theme of C and C, especially red alert.

I tried playing starcraft when it came out and was just not impressed, however, my opinion is based on about a 2 hour timeframe. I just didn't like it.

My fav game like this however, has to be total annihilation.
