I like that one episode where it was filmed COPS style. I thought those were funny and a good change of pace.

The seasons they filmed here in Vancouver were great. Once they started whining, moved to LA, started having replacement characters, missing Mulder and Scully, etc, it started sucking.

The last 2 seasons were basically just a soap opera.

I missed good episodes, but pretty much everything after the movie isn't worth watching. Started going downhill before that. Once they screwed around with the dynamics of Mulder-Scully (Mulder's here, now he's not, now he's back, etc.) it was crap.

well atleast the smorking man got it
Dumb butt was the reason the X-files ended the way it did. I'll never understand actors/actresses who were bums, finally score a good gig, and then think they're Gods gifts.

Anyone miss it ?

I stopped watching after the feature film. At the end of the series, what was the final state of "The X-Files Universe"? Did they wrap up storylines? Any loose ends?

Mulder is not dead (abducted by aliens?)......show cuts off with mulder and scully on a bed.

Yeah, it was basically good up until the movie, although I never did really like all the conspiracy stuff that much. I always heard Chris Carter never intended the show to run past the film, so that's why afterwards they had to stretch for stuff and it got lame.

I always thought it was hilarious that Scully doubted Mulder in every episode, after everything they went through.

Season 1 Disc 1 should be arriving from Netflix today. I haven't seen those episodes in years, since they original aired I suspect.
