Tread carefully. I got banned for something like this. :|

Eh? For asking if people made it to an event?

NO is related to Hurricane Katrina, in which mods do not like to see people talk about it. Mardi Gras is related to NO.

From Wikipedia:
Mardi Gras (French for "Fat Tuesday") is the day before Ash Wednesday, and is also called "Shrove Tuesday" or "Pancake Day". It is the final day of Carnival (English:IPA: /ka?n?v?l/ and Romance languages:IPA: /karnival/). It is a celebration that is held just before the beginning of the Christian liturgical season of Lent. The feast should not be confused with the Polish Fat Thursday.

I do not think the OP ment anything related to Hurricane Katrina.

I just got back from NO last night. Had a great time, wish we could've stayed longer. The weather was great, except for Saturday and the parades and spirit of everyone at them was great. Some of the smaller parades went WAY too fast because a lot of the local bands couldn't parade. However, lots of out of town bands picked up the slack. Great to see stuff like that.
