Anyone make IDE RAID cards anymore?

I can't seem to find a current new MB that supports IDE RAID without the use for Serial ATA adapters, so I am looking for a PCI card to do the job. Promise doesn't seem to make them anymore? I need an inexpensive but VERY reliable card for a file server.

If this is for a server, something a bit more high-end than a $23 Koutech might be a good idea. More expensive cards should do more of the work themselves, and not rely on the CPU as much. At least, that's what I've picked up from my ventures into the RAID world, and from what I've read on the forums.

Is it good quality? I need RAID 1 for these file servers, and reliabity is key.

You should go with SCSI. IDE has no business in a server where reliability is paramount! PERIOD!

Compgeeks has Silicon Image for $20. I used one in me mum's PC just for a single IDE drive. Unlike some of the other IDE/RAID chips it is a full controller supporting all IDE devices (CD, etc.) not just HDD's.
