anyone mad they bought a big screen TV before the whole HD thing took off?

im kinda pissed... i bought a 60 inch tv 5 years ago, before the whole HD thing became big.. now im stuck with this TV which is not a HDTV... i want to get a big screen HD tv, but i will have no where to put it and will have no place to put my current one.. 🙁 ... :|
 
Somebody will give you a couple hundred $$ for your old one.

That's the nature of technology, there's always something bigger & better. 5 years is an eternity for tech, you got 5 years of use out of it so be happy.

You got 5 years of use out of it so don't feel too bad. Think about how slow a $2,000 PC from 2000 is today with its screaming Pentium 3 CPU.

My brother just sold his old 55" on eBay to a local buyer -- he only got $350 for it, but it made room for his new 61" Samsung DLP.

I keep giving my brother a hard time for only having a 27" TV but he doesn't want to get ride of his TV stand etc...

How wide is the stand? A 46" DLP is only 43" wide and only weights about 75 pounds.
 
Nope, I never bought one.

Bought a Toshiba Cinema Series 27" back in 2000, been using it ever since.
