IGN preview.

Anyone else looking forward to this? I loved the first one, although I don't think I ever really got too far into it. It was a very original game, gameplay was great, and the graphics at the time were outstanding. If you follow the link above, there is a fairly recent preview of a near-final build of the game.

Yeah, looking forward to torturing, starving and randomly killing more of my villagers. It's fun being god, you don't have to explain yourself.

Yeah I'm absolutely looking forward to it. Optimized for dual-core? I sure hope so. :D

Yes. I just hope it is released soon because it's already starting to look long in the tooth graphics-wise. And the bloom overkill is so passe.

But I'm sure I'll enjoy it, even if Peter does get his knickers in a twist hyping things that can never be delivered.

edit: "Yes" to looking forward to it, that is.

LOL, speaking of toturing people and things (Man alive I loved throwing cows off into the oblivion), I'd like to see another Dungeon Keeper game.

I enjoyed it until I got to the second island and had my ass handed to me repeatedly. I never got past that second island, so it was really hard for me to enjoy it. :(

if you liked Dungeon Keeper, check out Evil Genius. it's pretty much the same game as Dungeon Keeper but with the whole James Bond villain thing.

it came out about a year or two ago. it's uber fun

I played the first B&W about a year after it debuted. To be honest it was rather confusing. The game seemed to have a great overall premise, but the interface wasn't that intuitive and the overall pacing seemed to lack direction. If I remember correctly, I wasn't able to tell when the tutorial ended and when the actual game began.

I'll give the second installment a shot anyhow, it looks like an interesting follow up.
