Anyone look at system rigs stats lately?

Damn you would think that there would be ALOT more abit built configuations, since there so many members who swear by that brand that it is so good.😉
 
Look at the IDE HD's, how many of those ppl have 75GXPs😛

Whatever happen to ppl owning Gigabyte boards?

murdock2525, that is out of those who entered their systems into the mysystem rigs. And many of us have multiple rigs on there.

Its not that intel leads on accident, but the number of celeron systems that have been overclocked to like 366@500 type of thing still lives and alot ppl aren't trying to let go of the BX chipset. Therefore these ppl should be banished from the stats 🙂VIA is pretty much owning it up now, reguardless of the southbridge fisaco.

Hmmm You mean in your opinion a VIA equiped P3 system is faster than a i440BX?!?
I'd bet a BX @133 vs a Via @133 the BX would come out on top...
even the i815 bests the VIA P3 chipset...

And I'm too lazy to use that Rig dealio, been here too long and don't frequent these pages too much not much Moding or heavy O/C'ing goes on here...

he didn't say faster. we all know the BX rules has far has chipsets go. He was refering to market presence and market share.

Wouldn't that be testiment to how VIA isn't all that, their are Co's that do better...

And as far as market share, if you measure what Intel chips run on, I'm sure you'll find that you'll
have a hefty majority running Intel chipsets, whether it be a BX or i815...
VIA has the corner market on chipset sales only because they are pretty much the sole supplier of AMD
chipsets, and Since at this point in time, AMD makes the better chip - bang fer yer buck, as well as all
out perf. and not to forget ease of O/C...

The one stat I find Most intriguing is the MoBo manufacturer, not so much Asus cuz we all
know their perf. abilities go Way back... But MSI, while no slouch certainly not as big as Abit, or even
Aopen...
