I would think it would take about the same time to drive straight through than it would to deal with Ohare. How long does it take to park, check in, clear security, fly in, get your bags then rent a car?

Yeah...but I'm from Oklahoma and don't have family up there. 🙁

However I will retire to a nice summer place in either Petoskey or Harbor Springs. Just gotta workout where to go in the winter.
