Bangor, Maine, my favorite place name. Heheheh. Is that where the big Paul Bunyon statue is? Nice little town.

I live in my house, on a street, in a city, in a province, in a country near the States.

Does that count?

No, but I have a cousin who lives in Maine. :)

Actually, it is one of my favorite states to vacation in.

I've been to Acadia many times, and stayed in several resort towns around there. Bar Harbor is like a second home to me, I hope I can afford a vacation home there one day....

Beeeeee---uuuuuuu----tiiiii-ful!

I too have vacationed in Bar Harbor. It is a great place during the summer. Acadia is nice too. I was saddened a bit when our favorite place to stay was purchased as a private residence. The place was called the Breakwater. It was originally the summer mansion for an Astor at the beginning of the 20th century. It was refurbished ($$$$$$$) in the 1990's as a very elegant bed and breakdfast. Only six huge rooms on two floors. Absolutely beautiful and right on Frenchman's Bay. The grounds were lovely. It almost had a monastic (peaceful) quality to it. Ah, the memories.

TRP, I know the place... didn't stay there, but have pictures of it. I have albums upon albums of Maine pics, maybe I'll post one later.
