I've been listening to him on and off for a year or so now and I find his point of view quite refreshing. He is intelligent, thoughtful and very honest about politics and issues facing our country.

Give him a listen if you have SiriusXM.

What channel & time?

POTUS channel 124 weekdays at 9AM.

He's an interesting guy. Was a republican for many years but is now registered as independent.

In 2013, Smerconish unilaterally decided to give up his terrestrial radio platform then consisting of 80 radio stations across the country to move to the POTUS Channel 124 on SiriusXM Radio. He said at the time that this reflected his desire to be "non-partisan" in discussing issues; having left the Republican party in 2010, adding that satellite radio would give him more freedom to talk politics without a party label.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Smerconish#cite_note-14

Ah, yes.

My favorite independents are the ones who voted for W twice, realized what they had done, "registered" independent, and will be sure to tell you at least twice per conversation that they're a "registered" independent.

Of course, they will continue voting for whichever Republican is on the ballot, but hey, no more W bumper stickers on their car, so it's all good.

I've seen him a few times and have found him to be more balanced than most of the others on CNN. Time will tell...

Almost daily, though from time to time I do get bored and won't listen for a week or two. I'm a fan.
