I got the new CD, its alright nothing to get over excited about.

Well, I like Nickelback, but I have never heard of Nickleback.

Funny you should say this because the only song they covered was "Super Bon Bon" Thats Beck right? And yea I got to admit that the music is meant for mass consumption and the sound is simmilar to Creed and for the Matter the Tragically Hip.....

i know bands generally have a "sound", but i thought the new CD would be a bit different or something

I can almost guarantee you haven't heard a single song off their first CD

You would be correct, although the Nickeback version is much better.
