I saw them in concert last night in Detroit......... It was excellent........ They tore it up..
Any fans out there?
 
no I don't like them. I have this video of them quitting after their second song while playing a show in Portugal. The crowd thought they sucked so bad that they were throwing trash and other miscellaneous sh1t the whole time they were playing...so Chad stops, and goes, "You guys want to hear some rock 'n roll, or do you want to go home?" at which point he got nailed in the head with bottle, flipped off the crowd, and walked off the stage for good.
 
What don't you like the music? or that they walked off the stage after the lead singer was pelted in the head with a bottle?

i thought he got hit with the bottle first and that's why they quit?!?

I worked security for one of their outdoor shows in Alberta 2 years ago and they were great live...I like their new CD too...
 
they are better than getting your fingernail smashed by a large heavy thing

that new song from the new CD they play on the radio sounds just like all the songs off the first CD

i know bands generally have a "sound", but i thought the new CD would be a bit different or something
 
he got in the head after he said everything. And no, that's not why I don't like them, I just don't like their pop-rock style, they write somewhat-catchy songs but they're nothing special.

I agree to an extent. I love Nickelback's last CD, but this new one is only good after song 6. The first 5 songs are bubble-gum radio drivel.
 
there's nothing wrong with pop rock, but nickelback is NOT good pop rock. they are an example of all that can be bad with a pop rock band. bad riffs. bad lyrics. bad melodies. bad look. bad sound.
