Yea, but it's easy to "like" things a shot glass full at a time :D

Anyhow, I've got like ZIPPO scottish or irish in me and I like guiness but I have to be in a certain mood for it. I'm 17 so i don't have "casual drinking in a friendly environment while eating a good meal and watching the game" moments too often, so i usually only drink guiness when my daddy buys it for me.

you cant drink on your own yet you make fun of other people

I dunno about the theory with Irish and Scot blood, but it surely is a drink where either you like it or hate it.

Of course I love it.

Another stout-as-hell beer is Youngs Oatmeal Stout and Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. You just about need a fork to eat those beers.

oh......10 more min, before I get off work. :)

Guinness is meant to be drank warm, like any lager, and so you're not unusual at all :)

From the 'official' site:
Can Guinness be drunk in the summer?
Guinness can be drunk all year round. It is best served cool at a temperature of 5-8 degrees centigrade, so it is an ideal warm weather drink.

but hey, it's however YOU like it, mate.

Yes it does come from heaven.;)

I didn't know I was that rich. Dinner at Barbaras... scallops... I had tuna fish and Kettle corn with a pepsi.
Mom always liked you best.:)

Guiness has good flavor. But I prefer something a bit stronger like something from the Stone Brewery in San diego. Their IPA is bitchin.

The first time I had Guinness, I was so surprised by the taste I spit it out. Good thing it was really dark in the bar at the time. It is not my regular beer but every now and then I drink a pint or two.

It's pretty good with a slight chill. Ice cold it's god awful. I do believe I need to make a beer run later today.

Hehe, you are wealthy beyond your wildest dreams of avarice. The tuna fish and Kettle corn with a pepsi sent me into raptures of delight. Life is so so sweet. I hope you are enjoying my sherry. It's a California one and is making it hard for you to cogently post. At the moment Mom's provided us with some wonderful Pilsner Urquell. By the way, for a giggle forget the kettle and try this. But an ear of corn inside its sheath and wrap a layer of Saran wrap around the ear. Stick it in the micro for 2 then let it sit a bit and another 2 then after a bit 30 sec or so. Practice with your particular oven. Pull the ear out and unwrap. Under the faucet quickly remove the leaves and silk. Butter and salt and enjoy. Never was an ear so easy to do, in my opinion and the taste was, well it was Eire, er, eerie er eary.

Mmm, Guinness.

only thing better is Ommegang.

it's a microbrew from Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown NY.
8.5% or so, and it's meant to be cellared, like wine, only making it taste better and be even more potent :)

I drank Gainness COLD for about a year now, and one day, I forgot to cool them down, but I ran out of beer, so what the hell, warm beer won't kill me, so I tried it, after that, I never put my Guinness in friger anymore. I think you really need to try it one day.
well.... unless you like LITE BEER....")

I have a small hypothesis, true in about 95% of the situations I've been in. If you're got any Irish or Scottish in you, you'll like Guiness. If you don't, you'll dislike it. Only been shown wrong about 3 times.

(Of course, the easiest way to get any idea disproved or laughed at is to post it on OT :p )

I'm 31/32 Irish, I'll let you know if I ever start to drink. If I were ever to try beer, Guniess would be the one I'd try.
