They make Black Label, Black Ice and Black Label Dry.

The ice version is very good.

I now see they make a limited edition Black Label Supreme with 8.0% alcohol.

I am trying the Dry now. Its pretty good, with a nice rich, full bodied flavour.

I give this beer 2 thumbs up.

anyone else try any of these yet?

PS: I am in Canada, eh!

My condolensces.

I have a can of black label from back in the 80's, that was only half filled at the brewery.

That's like coming into a thread about working on a car and saying, "I don't know anything about cars...I ride the bus."

LOL, what's ironic is that most of the people here don't know anything about cars, except what they read in magazines, yet they have such strong opinions.

Carling's Black Label??? Do they still make that? Haven't had it for a long time. I remember in high school it was a cheap buzz.

heh...I used to work on my own car a bit and helped my step-brother in a short-lived attempt at restoring a '70 (or so) Chevelle SS. About all I can do now is put air in the tires and check the oil! :Q

Well, obviously since I am drinking one.

What is really ironic is that Carling Breweries started here in London Ontario in 1840.

It is brewed here by Molson in accordance to the original recipe from Carlings archives. Carling is the #1 beer company in the UK and South Africa.

In the UK Carling is owned by Coors and in South Africa it is owned by Miller.

It is still available in the States.

Next time you come to Canada you can try one. :)

I live in Pottsville, PA, home of America's Oldest Brewery, Yuengling. I usually go for Yuengling Lager or Sam Adams. I should see if Black Label is still available and re-acquaint myself with it.

I drank it when i was younger... Ice has higher alcohol content... how much? like 6%? Didn't really like it, a little too dry for me.
