i'm trying to improve my cooking skill and i'm thinking about doing a sushi dinner party. so far, from tasting all the different spicy california roll from different places, i came up with

seafood salad+ texas pete = spicy crab

In that recipe I read "1 ripe Hass avocado, cut into 1-inch julienne" as "1 ripe ass avocado"... I was like, since when do they use slang in recipes? 😕
