Anyone know why... (WinXP and Systray popup text)

I've noticed that in my WinXP machine, the text that pops up over system tray icons (for example, the date and time when you move the icon onto the system tray clock) sometimes pops up behind the taskbar instead of on top of it. Makes it impossible to read.

The only thing that I can think that I might have borked is that I have TweakUI installed and I turned off most of WinXP animations. Perhaps that is a cause? I've tried to set everything back to default but it still occurs.

Anyone else notice this?

Thx

Do you have your taskbar set to be "always on-top" ? I think this is just a bug that Microsoft hasn't fixed yet. I've had it happen to me a few times. Try unlocking the taskbar if it isn't already and then relocking it. Are you using a different windows skin other than what came with windows? or are you using a skinning program? sometimes that will cause the UI to behave in weird ways.

Yes, taskbar is set to always on top. I'll try switching that when I notice it happen again. It doesn't always happen. I'll also try unlocking/locking.

Nope, no skins or skinning programs.

Thanks for the ideas.
