That would be so awsome if i could find that, and it is true scsi and not just ide to scsi bulit in hidden connector.

Anyone familiar with this or know of a link to a store that carries it?

Hmm, no luck here (tried Dell, Hypermicro, DirtCheapDrives, Computers4Sure and Froogle.com). You might want to email Hypermicro or DirtCheapDrives and ask if they could order one in for you, if you really want one

and no one seems to carry or stock it...

It's a dvd-ram drive not an rw drive. It came out in 97 so it may not be available anymore.

ahhh thanks, i was hoping it wasnt a RAM drive...

darn my chances at owning a SCSI based DVD-RW drive are very slim.
