Anyone know where to buy a replacement HDMI port?

I got my hands on a Blu-ray player that has a severed power cord and a broken HDMI port. Supposedly it got hung up on a forklift (like they have at Best Buy) and I guess the guy kept going?

Anyway I'll probably just use one of the several PC power supply cords I've accumulated, cut off the end and solder it onto the motherboard. However, I'm not sure where to find a replacement HDMI port I can solder in. Ideas?

If you are not going to help then why reply? I searched and all I have found are other people with the same problem. No solutions other than to send it in. I want to try to fix this myself.

Ok, I found out I need an Triple Row DIP Type HDMI port. Mouser doesn't have it. This is it exactly: http://php2.twinner.com.tw/files/splink/YG3168-09.pdf
Anyone know where else I could get this? All I can find are suppliers from china that don't sell individually.

I bought the stupid Service Manual for $6.25 and it gave me the part number 3701-001313. The only place that sells that part number partstore.com and they want $8.57+$7.99 shipping. What a rip. Don't know if I want to spend all that money to fix the HDMI port.

Another option, since you're already stripping and soldering for the power cable and would probably have to do so for the new port, might be to just buy a long HDMI cable, split the plug off one end, and solder the wires directly to the circuit board, skipping the port entirely. You'd probably want to hot-glue the cable to the edge of the case to avoid putting pressure on the board when you tug the cable.

Seriously - you're putting way too much effort into a broken blu-ray player. Just buy an hdmi cable and use a coupler if you need it longer.
