I have week 27 E6600 chip here that i got from Monarch computers, but I can't seem to get it over 3150MHz. I suspect it's the DFI motherboard more than the chip, because getting past post at higher FSB is where I'm having troubles. (And everyone else with this mobo). Runs 3150 8hour Orthos stable on +112.5Mv or 3000 8 hour orthos stable on +37.5Mv.

Edit: I've managed to get the chip up to 3248MHz, 360fsb @ +137.5mV, but it failed Orthos after about 6.5 hours. I had to bump my ram to 2.05 to get this to post, so I'm not sure if it was a RAM failure or CPU yet. But this DFI board has terrible problems with cold-boots. It refuses to consistently cold-boot post at FSB higher than 333.

I'm thinking of selling this setup and going for a 6400 + P5B combo. Doubt I could get a decent price though.

Augie

My week 27 E6600 gave me 400MHz over my week 23 E6600 at the same VCore. 400MHz is worth it to me. Happy, stable and cool @ 3.6GHz 400x9.

i got my week 27 E6300 from OcUK. 😀

3.15Ghz (450FSB) on 1.31v. Looking to do the volt mod so to hit around 3.5Ghz. (Asus P5B)
