I seen March 2002 and in May 2002. Which will it most likely be? Reason I ask is because if its in May I am gonna buy a GF2 Ultra used for $100 and upgrade to a good card that will run it when it comes, since prices will be cheaper. If its in March I was thinking about just forking the $140 over for a Visiontek Extasy GF3 Ti200(used). So what do you all think? All opinions wanted as I need to decide something tonight.

I can't handle this S3 Trio anymore.

they say 1st quater 2002, but you know that most likely means 3rd quater. no way will it be out in march. look for it in august.
that may be a little harsh 🙂, but im really looking forward to this game and have very little hope for it shipping in q1.
 
ok did a little more reading on it. apparently ut2 comes out in the summer, so you can bet that one of the two is going to get pushed back if anything comes out in may. i really doubt they would launch u2 in may and turn around a month later and release ut2. one will be pushed back to q3 for sure. since u2 has the earlier release day as of right now (q1 vs summer) it'll most likely come out before ut2. that would put it no later than may, but most likely not in march. ut2 will probably be the game released in q3, around august or september.

what i could tell from voodoo extremes threads on u2.
 
Well I was just wondering because I was gonna upgrade to a GF3 Ti200 if it was in March. I guess no one knows for sure. I may just get a GF2 Ultra for now and upgrade when it does come.
 
man, Unreal 2 and UT 2 are gonna rock!!! Huge environments and vehicles, time for Tribes to die!!!

It was updated january 12, what info have you learned about that is not covered in the faq? Also, please direct me to another more up to date compilation of U2 news.
