Anyone know when the X-Box will be coming out??

The dream of mass market profits caused my favorite hobby, PC gaming, to evolve into a bunch of simplistic, repetitive action-oriented shooters. That's not my bag, baby. I prefer story-based games that require a bit of thought and don't require me to save/reload/save/reload to get past jumping puzzles.

Anyway, my expectations for the x-box are more of these crappy types of games. And any developer talent taken away from pc gaming and moved to the x-box platform hurts pc gaming. MS's "vision" of an x-box for every tv basically means fewer quality pc games for yours truly.

I have no desire to buy an x-box. My tv is not a monitor, I prefer a keyboard, I like simulations and they require a joystick and throttle, etc. etc. And I don't like forced relocation.
