From what I gather, it's gonna be a mid season premiere type thing, and this'll probably be the last season. :|

They always do that to shows I like. Why is it that the ones I will actually watch are cancelled by network TV?

Season 6

On 15 May 2006, NBC announced that Scrubs had been renewed for a full season (2006?2007), although it would be a mid-season replacement rather than appearing on NBC's fall 2006 schedule (as was the case for the show's fifth season). The first episode will be a continuation of Season 5's finale entitled "My Mirror Image." Producer Bill Lawrence has also indicated that Season 6 will likely be the final season of Scrubs.

I still haven't heard why they're cancelling it. At least it lives on in syndication. :D

Far as I know, it's not cancelled. It is probably ending, but not by cancellation. Comments from the producers have come across as them choosing to go out strong before NBC can screw them.

NBC still doesn't know what to do with the show, as it has a loyal following but not a big enough of one to warrant them giving it prime real estate when they have other rookie shows that need help coming before or after a biggie.

It sucks, as I watch the show habitually, but it's just how things are.

I was impressed by "Garden State." He should have a good career ahead of him.
