Anyone Know When "The Fountain" is Coming to DVD?

Never got to see it in the theater here cause it didn't come (weird), so I admit I got it by other means. Anyway, the video and sound quality was so terrible it was just a waste watching it, especially since they looked to be a large part of the movie, so I stopped after about 30 minutes and trashed it.

So my question is, does anyone know when it's coming to DVD? I did some searching but couldn't find a date. I do know it was released November 22nd so it shouldn't be too long, right?

Haha... tried that. Video and sound were shite. I was super fvcking pumped about this movie so I would definitely buy it right away.
 
Netflix isn't listing a date yet so I'd guess you're waiting until at least April. No word on a HD-DVD or blu-ray version either.

Reviews were all over the place, but I really enjoyed it. Sci-Fi films like this are few and far between. Gattaca and 2001 come to mind.

The visuals make it worth the wait for the DVD.

Yeah I've heard good and bad too. I like the director a lot and everything else about it, from the actors to the music to the plot, so I'm pretty sure I'd like it. It'll be worth the wait I think.
 
I had a link somewhere that said May 8th and another that said May 15th. I don't think there has been anything firm, but May seems to be around the time. I have been extremely anxious for this to come out on DVD. I saw it at the theater once, and had to watch it a few more times for it to really start to think in. The copy floating around is pretty piss poor, and I only can stand it because I have seen it before on the big screen. Since this movie did so poorly at the box office, they are in no rush to put this out on DVD, and pirates are in no rush to get this to the internet.

It would be worth the wait to see it proper on DVD or in HD. The movie is a slow burner, and requires many viewings and alot of thought to be rewarding. Its very similar to Eyes Wide Shut in that sense. If you don't want to dedicate a large amount of time to the themes this movie presents, then you are best staying away.
