if so please share, i recently watched a tape of david copperfields magic tricks and I was so frustrated, i'm a guy who believes magic is not possible only illusion is, however i put all of my brain to work and couldnt get any reasonable explanations, for some of them i did get some idea how it might have been done...however i think im very far from the real secret......but some tricks, the speed at which they are done deceive my mind, for example, david copperfield disappears in one place and appears at another.i just cannot logically deduce a reason how he could have disappeared in one section so fast and suddenly appear in the crowd. any input would be appreciated.
 
You should watch that series of shows where they tell magicians secrets away. There are about 3 or 4 shows of that type that come on US cable TV every so often. It is quite interesting on how some of these tricks are devised and how they can fool people. It surely is a art form.

thanks for the link...i was specifically looking for David Copperfields Magic Trick Secrets actually..i did search on the web..most of them were for small tricks...you know that some of the magic tricks are just an illusion, but then there are a few tricks that truly bend your mind and defy logic.the statue of liberty thing is truly amazing, but the explanation in the link is faulty because he made the statue of liberty disappear from closeup. I do get a lot of links...but not the key ones,anyways i shall search more. thanks for the help .
 
The ones where copperfield makes big stuff dissapear (like the space shuttle, statue of liberty, etc) are so simple you're going to hate yourself. Scroll down if you MUST know how he does them.

It's quite simple, really. The audience members/witnesses that see the trick from behind the curtain or whatever are allways in on it. The camera/stage/curtain are all on a big dolly, and are moved so they don't point at the object any more. If you saw copperfield make the Space Shuttle disappear, he made the tower behind it disappear as well, to "make the trick more difficult". In reality, when they moved the camera to a different point, the tower was gone too, so they had to explain it somehow.

It's a farkin joke. Click on the other links on the page. He uses Sea Monkeys to chew through the metal chains in an underwater box. He uses compressed air bricks to levitate.

Haha funny. Get it?
