Anyone know the best way to refrigerate and reheat hot wings?

I've refrigerated hot wings in a closed container before, and then baked them in the oven the next day on a cooking sheet, but they came out kind of gross (dry and the flavor isn't as good).

Anyone know of a good technique for reheating hot wings?

You don't reheat them. Either you eat them fresh and hot or you eat them cold.

First time eating pizza and wings?

I was in the exact same situation you are about a month ago. Fearing that reheating would ruin them, I simply ate them cold. My roommate loosely wrapped his in a paper towel and threw them in the microwave. I found both to be quite enjoyable.

Seeing as I prefer my wings more on the dry side - I would reheat (if at all) like you did in an oven. Just not too long so they start juicing out. I never... EVER microwave chicken, because I tend to heat it too long making the bone like a flaming skewer of death in my mouth.

If there's enough sauce....bake them in the oven/toaster oven, microwave the sauce, combine. If not, microwave is better.

That would be desirable, I'll have to remember to set some extra sauce aside when I make my next batch. I've been trying hot wing recipes on the internet once a month for the last few months and they've all been coming out pretty great so far, I've just had difficulty with the leftovers.

They might reheat better in the oven if you wrap them in tin foil first.

I concur w/ nakedfrog on this technique, it has worked well in the past for me as long as there is a good amount of sauce left w/ the wings. 🙂
