Anyone know the apx. flight time from Baghdad-Ramstein

If it is serious, they stabilize in Baghdad and then send to Ramstein within 24-48 hours I think.

A direct Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv on a 747 takes about 4 hours.

They did stabilize in Baghdad but the family was notified (AS FAR AS I KNOW) when the flight left Baghdad. Apparently it happened several hours ago.

Thanks

And then there will be a short ambulance ride to the hospital an Landstuhl in all likelihood. They have much better facilities at Landstuhl than Ramstein.

Someone beat me to it, but I was going to say around 5 hours. As far as I know, they fly most of the medevacs on C-17s and possibly C-9s (Navy still flies those). In country medical care is very good, and the folks in Germany are excellent. Here's hoping for a swift recovery.
