Anyone know that poem that helps you remember how many days are in each month?

30 days have september, april, june, and november. There's no reason to remember the rest because it's pretty damn obvious that february has 28 and all the others have 31.

clench a fist and count your first knuckles and the spaces between them, doubling up on the pinky knuckle (for July and August) and come back...the months that are on your knuckles (January, March, May, July, August, October, December) have 31, the rest except for February have 30.

January - pointer knuckle - 31
February - space between pointer and middle knuckles - 28
March - middle knuckle - 31
April - space between middle and ring knuckles - 30
May - ring knuckle - 31
June - space between ring and pinky knuckles - 30
July - pinky knuckle - 31
August - pinky knuckle - 31
September - space between ring and pinky knuckles - 30
October - ring knuckle - 31
November - space between middle and ring knuckles - 30

the knuckle method is super easy. even if you remember the odd for 1-7, even for 8-12 rule, the kncule method is still a good reminder

just remember "30 days hath september, april june and november." from there you can figure out which ones have 31, and the february situation.

Bah, all these long poems, lines, hand techniques, etc. will just confuse people. Why all the work? Major Christian holiday typically in the month = 31 days. Thats all you need to know. Well you have to know things like Christmas is in December, but if you can't remember things like that, then you have bigger problems.

Not a poem but, starting with January (which has 31 days) every other month has 30 days with the exception of February and July/August both having 31 days.
