SO what I'd like to do is set up a public phone number for a business that I'll be setting up. It would likely receive less than 1 incoming call per month. (No, I dont expect business to be that bad, but I already have most of my clients, and this will largely be for show)

That said, I'd not only need a voip provider, but one that can provide or alternatively support
someone else's DID. Maybe Im reaching too far, but figured this would be the place to ask.

ANyone got any ideas?

ps. by cheap I mean under $10 per month.

I pay about $5/month for Skype's unlimited plan plus a local SkypeIn number.

Why not just buy an 800-number and have it forwarded to your current number? I pay about $4/month for one (that I barely receive calls on...it's largely for show).

OOhhhh, I like the 800 number idea. Any way to get more details? Can it be forwarded to any tel number? That would be cool.
