Yeah so I'm also googling around for info but I thought I could ask here too...

We had a kid 6 months ago and my wife is having a hard time managing work and baby sitters, so I wanted to explore any work-from-home through internet possibilities... does anyone know of any credible online organizations like this?

What skills does she have? Legitimate WFH businesses are looking for people with skills and experience just as much as brick and mortar businesses are.

have her open her own daycare at home.
depending on state, total kids she can watch (hers + others) = 5 b4 she needs to hire an assistant.

or try drop shipping
 
list her skills.
Without knowing that there's no way.
Find a job that allows telecommuting most of the days.
 
OP must have forgotten to mention to the S.O. that he thought she should make an income. Someone in MI needs to check the landfill for plastik.
 
My cousin's wife used to process rebates for a large rebate firm. She didn't make a lot, but it was money. Then again you need one in your town in order to process the rebates...

She always had funny names to tell us.

yeah just create lots of porn blogs and put porn ads in them, and interlink them to go up in rankings.
If you put some good stuff to bait people, they'll click the see more videos button than leads to site with your referral.
Easy money if you manage to get it going and make it automatic enough (programming and web developer skills required though).

liveops is real. I actually talked with someone who does saveology.com too. There are a number of simple franchises, like Avon, Mary Kay, etc.

I've heard 2 different stories about "medical billing" though. 1. its hard to actually make money - the business is hit and miss, and 2. its the best thing since sliced bread.

I've got 2 customers that do it. One from home, the other goes to an office. Might be alright as long as there is another source of income. But as a stand alone, I think it doesn't do so well.
