Anyone know of any super thin needle nose plyers?

Try medical ones maybe? (the ones you probably keep in the washroom cabinet somewhere, to pop warts and stuff) Not exactly needle nose plyers though. Depends what you're trying to do.

I'm trying to pull out an LED from a tube socket. I have about 1mm clearance on both sides.

You might just want to custom-make something, or else improvise. Can you use suction, or push it from the other side?

Maybe try some pins or sewing needles, used as chopsticks/tweezers to extract it.

Hemostat, maybe?

hemostat, or ultra sharp forceps. I bought a pair of ultra sharp forceps for about 10$. The tip diameter is 80 microns which seems perfect for what you would need. I used it in lab to pick up tiny metal wires for use in thermal evaporation.

Any large tool catalog.

BTW, I almost didn't help you because you said "plyers".

😛

It wasn't just the OP, RedSquirrel followed up with the same. I thought we were just going with it... or maybe the Brits were claiming that Engrish is their language again or something.
