Please try to keep the responses serious. I have a real bad sore throat and I was wondering if anyone knew of good home remedies for my ailment.

Gargle warm salt water...I've heard that is supposed to help...I prefer Chloraseptic

Honey, vinegar, and asprin.

Edit:
Sore Throat: Mix ¼ cup of
vinegar with ¼ cup of
honey and take 1 table-
spoon six times a day until
the mixture is gone.

good night's rest

drink some of that theraflu stuff, then pop a bunch of pain pills or take a big shot of nyquil and get some rest, pop a couple advil right when you wake up and continue it through the day and you should be fine

if you're early on the sickness life cycle, drink a bunch of straight whiskey, don't mix it, just drink it you nancy boy

Gargle for 15 seconds with 1 oz of clear alcohol such as gin or vodka. Works for me everytime.

The warm water/salt combo does a very good job but you don't feel better right away so I would use chloraseptic until your sore throat feels better from gargling with the salt water. If you don't want to carry around a bottle of chloraseptic you can use cepacol or cepastat sore throat drops. I believe chloraseptic now has a patch that you can put in your mouth too.
