What I mean is the actual source. I want to get a website up where my family and others can upload photos of my father and share them through the website. I currently have one up with Gallery, but I do not really like that software that much. It seems a lot more complicated than I really need.

Does anyone know of anything that is similar to Gallery but a little more simple?

I want it to be similar to Gallery in the sense that people can upload their own albums, and those albums are on display for everyone to see.

Anyone know any others other than Gallery? Thanks.
 
What version of Gallery are you using? Gallery 3 (from the limited use I've had with it) seems to be much more simplified than Gallery 2. Its currently in Beta, but it seems to be stable, and at least worth checking out if you haven't
 
blinblue I am currently using Gallery 2 actually, maybe I will wipe that and try Gallery 3 instead if I can't find anything else.

I'm not sure about Picasa but I also would like something that I can personalize a little bit, which from my limited experience using picasa, it doesn't seem to do. I also have my own domain already which again, not sure if you can use with picasa.
 
any other suggestions? im going to wipe gallery 2 out tonight and try gallery 3 if no one else has any suggestions.
