Anyone know of any Community Colleges in the Davis, CA area? I have a cousin who is moving out there, anyone know whats the closest college he can goto? he plans to do 2 years in jc then transfer to uc davis if things work out...
 
Yep. Sac city extension right in South Davis. Don't let the N/S/W/E throw you off, you can get anywhere in 10 minutes unless you're going through downtown at 4-5pm. Also, downtown is like 1 city block of small stores that would be considered a street corner down in So Cal.

There's also one in Woodland thats like 10 minutes on the freeway.
 
Diablo Valley College is in the bay area (45 min from Davis) and has an agreement with UC Davis for guaranteed admission when you meet certain minimum course requirements. It's by far the best JC in NorCal, and probably the best in the state. the woodland JC is very small, IIRC.

I think DeAnza is recognized as the #1 CC in California..
