anyone know of an app that would tell a PSUs stats?

well I plan to attach 4 hard drives to the thing and a new, better video card and I want to know if it can handle the load.

No. The motherboard can tell you what voltages it is receiving, but not the rated amps for the PSU (which may or may not be accurate anyway). Open the case and look.
