just bought an e-note and i read that it can only tak low profile pci cards, but the review showed that they card's pcb must be physically smaller than 72mm in height.

thanks please post links to findings

i went with the mini-itx radeon p4 board, but i want dvi and the onboard does not have it. so i must get a pci card

Well I did a quick check, and it looks like you have two options.

1. If you don't want outstanding graphics, the best video cards I could find that would probably fit in there would be a FX5200 or 5700LE form NV, but you'll have to search a little to find one with DVI only and that is short. For ATI, it looks like some of the X300SE cards might fit into this category as well.(newegg has several of each of the above to choose from)

2. Use a PCI riser card and turn it over sideway on the motherboard. You'd have to be careful which way the riser card faces if you don't want to cut apart your case, but it would be another option.

If you haven't been there already, you might want to try mini-itx.com they may be able to anser more questions for you.

Commell LV-series boards? IIRC, you can get the MiniAGP module that provides DVI and TV output. They cost a bit - but if you threw down for one of those boards in the first place, you can afford it. :p :D

Precisely my point. ;)

"ITX" and "Gaming" are still two worlds that have yet to collide.

Try to find a workstation-class card - that may be your only hope for fitting the bill of "low profile, DVI, PCI" - let alone "decent power" - the FireGL MV series might work for you.
